Tire Grade Natural Rubber

SIR 20, SIR 10, and RSS 3 lots specified for passenger and light-truck compounds.

Tire compounders need predictable Mooney viscosity, PRI floors, and dirt limits that survive incoming QC. Our tire application range covers SIR 20 as the volume TSR grade, SIR 10 for premium tread lines, and RSS 3 smoked sheet for plants that keep Green Book sheet in tread recipes. All lots ship with SNI 1903 or Green Book documentation matched to the contract.

TSR in tire compounds

SIR 20 is blended into passenger and light-truck tread, sidewall, and inner liner recipes worldwide. Mooney at 65 plus or minus 5 and PRI at or above 50 are the parameters mixer operators watch first. SIR 10 tightens dirt and ash when premium tread consistency justifies the cost.

RSS in tread lines

RSS 3 remains specified in tread compounds at plants with long sheet experience. Visual Green Book grading plus laboratory confirmation gives receiving warehouses a double check. Pair RSS 3 with SIR 20 when your recipe calls for both forms.

Contract supply for tire makers

Quarterly and annual contracts with monthly call-offs are standard for tire programmes. We align mill production with your named volumes and confirm test results before each shipment. Jakarta sales coordinates contracts; Belawan and Jakarta ports handle loading.

Tire grade FAQ

TSR and RSS options for tire compounders.

Why is SIR 20 the default tire-grade TSR for Indonesian natural rubber programmes?

SIR 20 balances cost and performance with dirt at or below 0.16%, PRI at or above 50, and Mooney 65 plus or minus 5. It is the reference grade in many Asian passenger tire formulations and ships in 19.6 MT FCL volumes.

When should a tire plant upgrade from SIR 20 to SIR 10 TSR?

When premium tread or thin-gauge compounds need dirt at or below 0.10% and ash at or below 0.75% without switching to smoked sheet. SIR 10 uses the same bale format and container MOQ as SIR 20 for easy trials.

Which tire lines still specify RSS 3 smoked sheet from Indonesia?

Tread compounds at plants where Green Book RSS 3 remains in the raw-material specification, often blended with TSR rather than used alone. RSS 3 carries dirt at or below 0.20% with PRI at or above 50.

Can tire makers book quarterly natural rubber contracts through Indonesia Rubber?

Yes. We run quarterly and annual programmes with monthly call-offs, pre-shipment COAs, and named port loading from Jakarta or Belawan. Send forecast volumes and grade mix at enquiry stage.
